Shichon (Teddy Bear)
The Shicion which is also known as the Teddy Bear is a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Bichon Frise. These dogs love your attention and will follow you just about everywhere.
Shicions are full of energy so playtime or a nice walk will help keep them happy and in good health. They love to chase kids and other furry companions around the back yard.
Shicions are considered low shedders but a daily brush will help keep their fur from matting.
The Shihpoo is a mix between a Shih Tzu and a Toy Poodle. They are small, hypoallergenic and cuddly companions which they have inherited from their parents.
Shihpoos are described as friendly and playful and are the size of your normal lap dog. They really look forward to interaction and playtime followed by long naps on your lap.
Monthly grooming and weekly brushing will keep the Shihpoos feeling their best. A bath in between grooming may help.
Sure, the name might be a bit questionable if you say it too quickly, but there’s no denying that the Bichpoo is one of the most delightful pups that you’ll ever meet. Fluffy, smart, and friendly, this lovely designer dog makes for a perfect family pet. Also known as a Poochon or Bichon Poodle, the Bichpoo is a mix between a Bichon Frise and a Toy (or Miniature) Poodle. He has a small but sturdy stature. He’s also highly intelligent and eager to please, which makes him easy to train (a highly underrated quality in any dog breed). Newbie dog owners should definitely consider this designer dog, as they’re very beginner-friendly breed. This is an ideal first dog to bring into any home and one guaranteed to make you a dog lover for life.
A low-allergen crossbreed of the Havanese and poodle, the sweet-natured Havapoo is a bright and lively charmer who fits right into homes and families of all types.
Havapoos are lovers, not fighters, so they’re much more prone to want to cuddle than to be guard dogs. While they may bark an alert, they’re generally very affectionate to all. Although Havapoos generally do very well with other animals and small children, interactions are best supervised, as these dogs are small and could easily be hurt by a child playing too roughly.
